Abstract
The management nurses association was created through the efforts of a group of management specialist nurses whose wish was to raise and develop management nurses in Mexico. Therefore, this association effort ends in August 25, 2000, when the Foreign Relations Bureau granted them permission and, later, the enactment before Public Notary number 123 of the public statement and statutes of the civil association, on December 20, 2000. The Association’s vision and objectives have been clear since the beginning: to contribute for Mexican nursing development, gathering management nurses to achieve their integral development. In order to do so, the Association organizes courses, congresses, lectures, symposiums, and has a training program for the ongoing enhancing of the member’s academic level. All management nurses can become part of this Association. The members are: Founders, by number and honorary. The actual association president is Mrs. Blanca Estela Mercado Sánchez, who, together with a group of management nurses will lead the association destiny until the year 2007.
