Sentido y significancia de practicas de autocuidado ante el riesgo de cáncer cérvico-uterino en mujeres mexicanas sanas.

Abstract
This paper describes the prospects of the practices of care that women are at risk of cervical cancer. For Dorothea Orem; selfcare is an individual-oriented and learned a goal that appears in specific situations of life where the person toward herself or to their environment actions to regulate the factors that affect their health and development. The uterine cervical cancer (CACU); in Mexico is the second cause of death from malignant tumors; despite the fact that since 1974 have been campaigning for early detection. Hence; it is interesting to identify the influence of such information in the conduct of Mexican women with regard to the actions of self-care. The objective of the research was to explore the prospects for self-care practices to the risk of CACU performing Mexican women. It is a study of qualitative phenomenological; which seeks the essence of the meaning it has for women with the possibility of having CACU. It conducted 13 in-depth interviews with women with various demographic characteristics were audio taped proceeding to the transcription. Results: The women interviewed indicated that the possibility of having cervical- uterine cancer mean for them “death; gravity; fear; a change of 360 degrees in your life and something very strong and hard to tackle. They reveal that the CACU “is a disease of the womb; severe and fatal disease affects women who do not have adequate care;” say it is acquired by papilomavirus; not eating well; not to be the Pap; background household; age; sexually transmitted infections; not exercising; not caring; not met and if not treated in time. “They note that in order to prevent cervical-uterine cancer “must make revisions to the seizure of gynecological smear every six months or every year; in addition to exercise and have a diet containing antioxidants; fruits; vegetables; omega 3; vitamins and minerals”. Conclusions: The self-care practices for women to the risk of cervical cancer are closely linked to their perception of contracting this disease; his personal history; their status as sex; educational level and professional environment and the knowledge they have through various means and by contact with other women who have suffered.
