Abstract
We develop a descriptible and transversal study to determine relationship between learning style (EA) and academic level (RA) in nursing student. We applied a questionnaire CHAEA of Honey and Alonso about learning styles from Kolb on total student people registered in 2001.
We found an inverse correlation from low level to moderate (r=0.36) between active EA and RA in the first year. In the second year, correlation was inverse from low level to moderate between practice EA and RA (r=0.33). In third year, theoric EA and RA have a direct relation but low level (r=0.19). And, in fourth year had a negative correlation from low level to moderate (r=0.13) between reflexive EA and RA.
Student’s RA from first to fourth year of Nursing Faculty have a relationship with EA determinates.
